Experienced Forklift Operator in Lehigh Valley

Job Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, stack, load, and unload products within a warehouse, distribution center, or production facility. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Move materials to designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping locations.
• Inspect forklifts before and after use and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Accurately track inventory movements and complete required documentation.
• Stack and organize products according to company procedures.
• Follow warehouse safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet productivity goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and understand shipping and receiving documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment throughout the workday.

Compensation:

$19- $22- depending on shift
