Essential Duties and Functions:

  Safely and efficiently operate a forklift within designated guidelines

  
  


• 
  

  Load and unload materials from trucks

  
  


• 
  

  Transport materials across the facility in a safe, organized manner

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with general plant operations and maintenance tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any issues

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain awareness and take action to prevent hazards

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate reliable and consistent attendance

  
  


• 
  

  Contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment

  
  

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE previous forklift experience


• 
  

  Strong desire to learn new responsibilities and grow with the company

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently with a positive, safety-focused attitude

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable performance, punctuality, and attendance

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed

  Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check

  
  

Work Environment:

  Exposure to machinery, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration

  Frequent wet or humid conditions; loud work environment

  Typical schedule: 8–12 hour shifts, 5–7 days/week during peak season; occasional night work

  
  

Physical Requirements:

  Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and reaching (waist to shoulder height)
