Forklift Operator - Shipping and Receiving

• Check in raw materials & finished goods
• Restock coils
• Take scrap & finished goods to yard
• Preparing  documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials
• Unloading freight, checking for damage, and verifying quantity and quality of order
• Distributing products to other departments
• Organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in
• Wrapping, packaging, and shipping supplies
• Loading trucks as demand requires

-Prior warehouse experience is preferred, especially in shipping, receiving, or inventory management.

-Forklift operation experience is required, 6 months minimum preferred. 

-Material handling skills including operating pallet jacks, hand carts, and other warehouse equipment.

-Attention to detail for inspecting incoming shipments, verifying outgoing orders, verifying inventory, and reporting damaged goods.
