Founding Account Executive

Location - Austin, Texas

Salary - $110,000 – $130,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Equity

Their platform enables finance leaders to automate and optimise critical financial processes across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Reconciliation, Collections, Working Capital, Treasury and Payments. Today, they support ambitious businesses across multiple markets, helping CFOs and finance teams eliminate inefficiencies, improve cash flow and gain complete visibility across their financial operations.

Now, backed by strong growth and increasing investment into AI and Agentic AI technologies, the company is entering its next phase of expansion.

That expansion starts in Austin.

This is an opportunity to become one of the first commercial hires in the United States and help build the foundations of what could become a significant US business.

You won't be joining an established sales team.

You'll be helping build one.

The Opportunity

As a Founding Account Executive, you will be responsible for winning new enterprise customers across the United States.

You will engage directly with CFOs, Finance Directors, Controllers, VP Finance leaders and broader CFO Office stakeholders, helping them modernise and automate critical financial operations.

This is a full-cycle role where you'll own opportunities from initial outreach through to close.

You'll work directly alongside leadership, contribute to go-to-market strategy and play a key role in defining how the business scales in the US market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through to close.
  • Build relationships with senior finance decision makers.
  • Conduct discovery calls, demonstrations and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop and execute territory plans.
  • Create and manage a healthy pipeline of enterprise opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing and partnerships teams to maximise opportunity creation.
  • Contribute to sales strategy, messaging and process development.
  • Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Become a trusted advisor to CFO Office stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Expertise

  • Proven experience selling SaaS solutions into CFO Office personas.
  • Experience selling to enterprise and upper mid-market organisations.
  • Strong track record of quota attainment and overachievement.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles.
  • Previous startup or scale-up experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated career progression throughout your sales career.
  • Strong educational background preferred.
