Full Time Freezer Loader / Forklift Driver
Toft Dairy 3717 Venice Road, Sandusky, OH 44870
Schedule Monday through Friday, 6:30AM to 2:30PM

The Freezer Loader is responsible for accurately picking orders, moving products, and maintaining inventory within a fast-paced freezer warehouse environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, food safety, and efficient workflow while working in extreme cold conditions.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Fill customer orders (order picking) accurately and efficiently


• Monitor production lines and transfer finished product to freezer storage


• Move product within the warehouse using pallet jacks and forklifts


• Push/pull heavy loads safely and efficiently


• Maintain proper product rotation and organization within the freezer


• Ensure all work meets food safety and quality standards


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the freezer and work areas


• Follow all company safety policies and procedures


• Assist with additional duties as assigned

Physical and Work Requirements:

• Ability to work in extreme cold conditions (-30°F) for 30–45 minutes at a time


• Frequently stand, walk, bend, climb, and twist throughout the shift


• Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 75lbs with assistance


• Push/pull heavy loads using pallet jacks


• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment


• Ability to work in varying temperatures across warehouse, production, and outdoor areas


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required


• Strong attention to detail and solid work ethic


• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment


• Effective math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide using weight and volume measurements)


• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure


• General safety and food safety knowledge/experience preferred


• Previous order picking or warehouse experience preferred


• Forklift certification or tow motor experience required
