Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor.


• Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system.


• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about the hotel and local area.


• Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns promptly and effectively.


• Maintain accurate records of reservations, payments, and guest information.


• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved.


• Process payments and issue receipts or invoices as needed.


• Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.


• Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.


• Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role preferred.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.


• Proficiency with computer systems and reservation software.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment

This position requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment. The Front Desk Agent will interact with guests, staff, and management regularly to ensure a positive guest experience.
