SUMMARY
The Silver Stem Fine Cannabis (SSFC) Front Desk Associate is the first representation of Silver Stem to our patrons when they enter our establishment. The SSFC Front Desk Associate has the direct opportunity to set the tone, embody our brand and culture and provide a comfortable environment guaranteeing our customers' return.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily
- Patient intake (Dual and medical licensed locations only)
- Full understanding of our Primary Patient Program and its benefits
- Customer check-in
- Full understanding of our Silver Seeds membership program and its benefits
- Identification verification
- Proper phone and email etiquette
- Full understanding of SSFC’s Vendor and Visitor Check-in Protocol
- Assist with the completion of daily store operations
- Maintaining knowledge of basic company security requirements
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Training
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policies and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED), Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Total Management Inc.
Required Skills & Experience

- Experience in a similar capacity of front desk/office field
- Knowledge of basic computer functions and working on various software and
- programs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements
- Previous marijuana industry experience is preferred, with priority given to candidates with experience in CO-licensed facilities
- Familiar with industry concepts, practices, and procedures
- Excellent computer troubleshooting, mathematical, language, problem-solving, and reasoning skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organization, multi-tasking, communication, and attention to detail
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Positive attitude, cooperative nature, and self-motivated
Physical and work requirements:
- Must be able to work in retail facilities with moderate to loud noise levels and changing working conditions. May require the use of safety equipment or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
- Must be able to acquire MED Badge before beginning employment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance individually
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- May be requested to work additional time as business demands require.
