Front Desk Agent / Bartender – Hotel McCoy Tucson

Position Summary

Hotel McCoy is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable Front Desk Agent/Bartender to provide exceptional guest service while assisting with front desk operations, beverage service, breakfast setup, and community events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, creating memorable guest experiences, and working in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Title 4 Certification required.


• Valid Food Handler's Card required.


• Previous customer service, hospitality, bartending, or restaurant experience preferred.


• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.


• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk

• Welcome guests during check-in and check-out.


• Answer phones, emails, and guest inquiries.


• Process reservations, payments, and room assignments accurately.


• Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.


• Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, events, and local attractions.

Bartending

• Serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with Arizona liquor laws.


• Verify identification and practice responsible alcohol service.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.


• Accurately process beverage sales and cash transactions.

General Hotel Duties

• Set up and maintain the complimentary breakfast area.


• Keep the lobby, bar, and public spaces clean and guest-ready.


• Assist with live music nights, special events, and guest activities.


• Follow all safety, security, and cash-handling procedures.


• Work collaboratively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams.


• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
