Job Description - Front Desk Coordinator

Dr. Garramone and team work closely with each and every patient, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge surgical techniques to craft incredible results.


Job Summary:


The front desk coordinator focuses on administrative duties while creating a welcoming environment for our patients. In this position, the front desk coordinator will work with the front office team answering incoming calls in a prompt and professional manner. In addition, they are responsible for data entry, scanning, and assisting with other daily office functions.


Essential Duties/ Responsibilities


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Greets and welcomes patient

  • Facilitates patient flow by notifying the clinical staff of patient arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating such with patients and clinical staff

  • Checking patients in and out for their appointments

  • Ensures a positive experience for each patient through excellent customer service practices

  • Oversees entry of patient data in Nextech (EHR System)

  • Captures contact information for prospective patients and generates leads

  • Collects payments for services and products

  • Educates patients on MedSpa services offered

  • Answers phones and effectively communicates with patients on their inquiries

  • Maintains a clean and organized front desk area

  • Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization working effectively as a team member with other members of management and the clinic staff


Qualifications



  • Prior experience in a cosmetic/plastic surgery setting preferred

  • Positive, outgoing and friendly attitude

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with Nextech EMR preferred


Work Schedule:



  • Monday - Friday no nights, no weekend
