Front Desk Reception - Express Care

Wage range for this role is $17.50-$23/hr.

Patient Service Professional Duties are listed below:

• *Registers patients in a timely manner while reviewing the chart for accurate demographic, privacy, UDS information and ensures all required forms are completed.


• *Requests payment at point of service.


• *Prints daily schedules for department and reviews charts for necessary paperwork, Medicaid eligibility, and patient intake needs.


• * Makes appointments only when necessary to support nurses and providers.


• *Assists patients in completing required forms.


• *Answers incoming calls for the department.


• *Collects all paperwork from patients and checks for completeness before giving to Medical Records to be scanned.


• *Applies payment to the patient accounts according to procedure.


• *Performs “end-of-day” procedures including printing reports and balancing the cash bag. Checks to see that all patients have been cared for and restocks supplies.

PSP Requirements:

--Strong customer service and data entry skills.

--Insurance experience, (Medicaid, Medicare, Private Insurances)

--Experience in a medical/reception office preferred.
