Job Description - Front of House Leadership

Leadership candidates are hired on as Team Members with the intention of fast-tracking development into Leaders within 90-120 days. Leadership Candidates are hired on at a higher wage than normal Full Time Team Members and have 30 days to prove that they have what it takes to learn the ropes, learn the existing team members and culture at Chick-fil-A Spanish Village, and bring something new to our existing Leadership structure. Leadership Candidates have the potential to be promoted into Shift Leaders, Assistant Directors, or Directors, depending on experience, qualifications, and performance.

Leadership Candidates that do not succeed in their first 30 days may receive a pay reduction to normal Full Time Team Member pay or removed from the Leadership Program.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
  • Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
  • Count drawers and finalize day
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2 Years of Leadership Experience (Shift Leader, Manager, General Manager, etc)
  • Reliable transportation and timeliness
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to adapt to changes quickly
  • People skills; the ability to get along with and care for Guests and Team Members
  • Ability and willingness to manage and address Team Member behavioral and performance issues
  • Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
  • Minimum of 2 days of opening OR closing availability.
