Requirements for All Roles

All roles will be expected to comply with the safety policies and procedures designated in our handbook, in amendments to the handbook, or in other policies as communicated by management. Additionally, all employees are required to be certified according to the guidelines and requirements outlined by the relevant State and Federal agencies. Additionally, all employees must have the following requirements for the position:

  • Able to lift 30 - 50 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule with weekend availability.
  • Team player who has the ability to follow instructions.
  • Self-starter and can work with and without direct supervision.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Closed-toe slip resistant shoes.
  • Valid Food Handler’s Certification.
  • Valid Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC) Certification.

Front of House Team Members

Front of House Team Members are responsible for handling a variety of aspects of the Tin Top dining experience. Front of House Team Members will be expected to carry out the duties for their station based on the general description provided in addition to other related job tasks that may not be listed below:

  • Provide quick service interactions, including:
  • Receive orders from customers, including answering questions & making recommendations
  • Enter order into the point-of-sale terminal
  • Receive payment via cash or credit card for the order
  • Receive individual orders from the kitchen and prepare/organize trays
  • Alert guests via buzzer when their order is ready or walk orders to tables for guests
  • Check-in with seated guests if they need anything
  • Prepare service stations, refill condiments, , restock beverages & supplies, refill ice, check station for proper working order
  • Clean tables, countertops, and service areas
  • Wash all dishes for Front of House and Back of House to ensure clean and sanitized dishes are available when needed
  • Follow Opening, Midday, and Closing checklists with great attention to detail
  • Assist in maintenance of general cleanliness & closing the restaurant:
  • Closing seating area and patios
  • Cleaning service stations & bathrooms
