Fry Cook

If you have kitchen experience, love food and people, or like feeling accomplished at the end of your work day, join our Popeyes Team. Our Cooks are all about frying up delicious Louisiana food for our guests. We take food and quality seriously, but have fun serving it too. Our Cooks enjoy working in fast paced environments and are great at keeping up with our guest demand. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Holds self accountable to meet performance expectations


• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality


• Works the batter fry line to cook chicken, tenders, fillets and all products


• Keeps a clean work area by wiping down, sanitizing, sweeping, taking out trash, etc.


• Helps entire store by organizing and putting away inventory on truck delivery days


• Preps and seasons product for forecasted use as necessary

Requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age


• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment


• Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with coworkers

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects


• Ability to carry products/boxes and miscellaneous weighing no more than 60 pounds


• Consistently handle product preparation


• Consistently kneel and follow proper lifting procedures


• Frequently stoop and pick up supplies and trash


• Consistently push to open and close door to store and storage shed as well as cooler and freezers


• Consistently lifts for product preparation, stocking and inventory
