Full-Time LEAD DSP

Seeking a dependable Full-Time Lead Direct Support Professional to teach and assist people with disabilities to be independent in their daily activities.

Applicant must:

• Be dependable, reliable and willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings


• Demonstrate ability to approach challenging situations with a calm approach


• Provide different levels of support to people with disabilities to meet their needs


• Provide training and oversight to other DSP’s


• Attend team meetings and appointments as needed


• Be willing to assist with personal cares


• Be a licensed driver and eligible to drive under RRHSF driving policy


• Assist Residential Coordinator with administrative duties, including Medication record audits, financial audits, data audits, and preparation of house menu and grocery list


• Pass medications and assist with medication training of other staff


• Participate in on-call rotation
