What You Will Do?

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Health Care is responsible for providing quality nursing care on the assigned shift and for assuring the completion of all care related tasks and documentation. The LPN supervises unit personnel as assigned and coordinates the completion of care duties. The LPN oversees the responsibilities of Qualified Medication Aides and Certified Nursing Aides assigned to the unit. 

Salary: LPN – Health Center (HC): $30.00–$38.00/hour

Shift: Day shift.

Qualifications: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with passed board exam as designated by the State Board of Health.


• Currently licensed with the Indiana State Board of Nurses Registration and Education as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).


• Thorough knowledge of clinical nursing and SNF Regulations, as well as practical knowledge of nursing skills and standards.


• Knowledge of the principles of management and supervision.


• A genuine interest in geriatric nursing and well informed on the current guidelines of geriatric nursing.
