Full-Time Nanny in South East Charlotte for a 3 Month Old Girl

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Southeast Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 3-month-old daughter. The nanny would be needed Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be loving, attentive, and reliable. Experience in caring for infants and toddlers is required, and the nanny must be confident in meeting their daughter’s needs as she grows older. Each day, the nanny will be responsible for keeping their daughter on a schedule by following her cues, and taking care of her daily needs, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and following the baby’s sleep and feeding routines.

The family values a nanny who is engaged and present throughout the day, talking, singing, and reading to the baby to build early language skills and a strong bond. The nanny should also support the baby’s development through tummy time and age-appropriate activities that encourage new milestones as the baby grows. When their daughter is a little bit older, the family encourages the nanny to take their daughter on outings to story times, museums, and other fun, age-appropriate activities. Both parents work from home, so the nanny should be comfortable working in a home where the parents work from home and maintain proper boundaries. The nanny should be able to communicate clearly and provide updates about the baby’s care as needed.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, changing, napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading dishwasher

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Emptying diaper trash

Pets: The family has 2 dogs (boxer mixes), 1 cat. No pet care responsibilities expected.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on vaccinations, including childhood vaccines, the annual Flu Vaccine, TDAP, and COVID before starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts October 21st

• Legal pay is offered at $25.00 - $27.00 an hour, depending on experience
