Havelock Manor is a small, 25-bed assisted living community located in beautiful Historic Havelock, right next door to the senior center. We provide personalized care in a comfortable, home-like environment where our residents can receive the support they need while remaining as independent as possible.

We’re looking for an experienced, dependable 40-hour Medication Aide who takes pride in providing excellent care, administering medications safely and accurately, and being someone residents and coworkers can count on.

?? The Schedule

This position works 3 twelve-hour overnight shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Reliability is extremely important. Our residents depend on us 24/7, so applicants must be willing and able to consistently work their scheduled shifts.

?? What You’ll Do

As a Medication Aide at Havelock Manor, you’ll do more than pass medications. You’ll be an important part of our residents’ care team and help make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the night.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely and accurately administering medications
• Maintaining complete and accurate medication and care documentation
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, dressing, repositioning, and other personal care needs
• Responding promptly to resident needs and call lights
• Performing light housekeeping duties, including but not limited to laundry and meal setup
• Helping maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment
• Communicating important resident information to the oncoming shift
• Working cooperatively with coworkers and contributing to a positive team environment

? What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is someone who is kind, dependable, trustworthy, attentive, and willing to jump in wherever residents need help.

Position requirements include:

• Current 40-Hour Medication Aide certification
• At least 1 year of experience preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Positive attitude and friendly, professional demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to work all scheduled shifts, including every other weekend
• Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability and willingness to provide hands-on resident care—not just medication administration

?? Pay & Bonuses

Starting pay: $18.00+ per hour, based on experience.

?? Overnight Differential: +$2.00/hour
?? Weekend Differential: +$2.00/hour

Sign-on Bonus

New hires with good attendance and job performance are eligible to receive:

$250 after 90 days
$500 after 9 months

That’s up to $750 in signing bonuses!
