Registered Nurse Office and Coverage Worker in the Twin Cities and Surrounding Suburbs

We are looking for a Full-Time in office Registered Nurse (RN) for a coverage and office assistance role Monday-Thursday and optionally Friday. This position is primarily during office hours but does offer some flexibility to be done outside those hours as needed for visit coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Care Coordination: Develop and update care plans, conduct client openings, and supervise caregiver services.


• Coverage Duties: Provide temporary coverage for essential visits, including annual evaluations and caregiver training.


• Building Relationships: Facilitate positive relationships between clients and caregivers by monitoring care delivery and documenting progress.


• Periodic Visits: Conduct in-home or phone evaluations to assess caregiver performance and client conditions.


• Fraud Prevention and Quality Control: Perform unannounced home visits to investigate discrepancies and ensure compliance.


• Administrative Support: Assist with submitting documentation to counties or DHS and coordinate with case managers for additional client needs.

In this role, you'll need to be adaptable, handle various challenges, be a team player and engage with clients from diverse backgrounds across the Twin Cities area. A reliable vehicle is required, and mileage reimbursement will be provided for in-person visits. About the Position: For this role, the RN's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Caseload: entails a 35-hour workweek, including an average or 6 scheduled openings per week, each lasting approximately 3 hours (totaling 18 hours). The remaining 17 hours are designated for completing coverage tasks or additional responsibilities.


• Assist in the office with coverage and initial visit paperwork, scheduling calls, organizing visit scheduling etc.


• Conducting out-of-office initial visits for new clients (preferably done during office hours, but optional to do outside of office hours as needed).


• Training caregivers and developing client care plans based on assessments made by the client's county of residence.


• Occasionally conduct surprise home visits to clients when there is suspicion of potential fraud or discrepancies in care for services, ensuring compliance with company policies and client well-being.

By adhering to DHS guidelines and company policies, the RN Coverage Worker ensures that clients receive appropriate, high-quality care tailored to the clients' expectations. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding client well-being while fostering trust and compliance in service delivery.

Job Requirements:

• RNs must be licensed with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and maintain an active status. Proof of active nursing status must be provided to AHH, Inc.

• RNs will receive on the job training conducted by AHH, Inc. office staff and current Supervisory RN staff. RN must also attend a Department of Human Services' training workshop within the first 90 days of employment.
