Full-time Service Lane Porter

Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort is seeking a dedicated Full-time Service Lane Porter to join our team in Frankfort, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service lane, assisting with vehicle movement, and supporting the service department to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles in and out of service bays promptly and safely


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lane and customer waiting areas


• Assist technicians in preparing vehicles for service


• Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to provide timely support


• Ensure all customer vehicles are handled with care and professionalism


• Perform other duties as assigned to support the service department

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record


• Ability to safely and efficiently maneuver vehicles of varying sizes


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions


• Good communication and interpersonal skills


• Previous experience in an automotive or service industry role is a plus
