Full-time Service Manager

Phillips Chevrolet of Bradley is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Service Manager to join our team in Bourbonnais, IL. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our service department, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and team leadership. You will be the key point of contact for customers and staff, driving service excellence and operational success.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the service department team to deliver outstanding service and meet department goals.


• Oversee scheduling, workflow, and repair orders to ensure timely and quality service.


• Maintain strong customer relationships by addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction.


• Monitor department performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.


• Coordinate with parts and sales departments to ensure smooth operations and customer experience.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.


• Assist in hiring, training, and developing service department staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.


• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.


• Knowledge of automotive service processes and repair procedures.


• Familiarity with dealership management systems and software is a plus.
