Job Description - Full-Time Therapist - Dual Diagnosis

Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or an addiction-related field. Oklahoma clinical or addiction counseling license, or eligibility to practice under supervision.

Location: Tulsa, OK.

A residential substance use and behavioral health treatment program is seeking a Therapist to support clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The therapist provides individual and group counseling, leads trauma-informed educational groups, and works with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and support continuity of care.

Responsibilities include:

Providing individual and group counseling in a residential setting

Screening and assessing clients to guide treatment planning

Leading psychoeducational groups for clients, families, and significant others

Treating co-occurring conditions using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches

Maintaining timely clinical records in accordance with licensing and regulatory standards

Collaborating with medical, clinical, and case management staff

Supporting appropriate placement and transitions across levels of care

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or an addiction-related field

Appropriate licensure or supervised practice status in good standing

At least one year of experience working with clients with both mental health and substance use concerns

Valid Oklahoma driver’s license

Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and ability to manage a caseload independently

Knowledge of ASAM levels of care and residential treatment experience preferred

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 annually with standard benefits.

Schedule: Full-time, on-site. Some scheduling flexibility may be needed to meet client and program needs.

Setting: On-site residential treatment.
