Position: Investment Operations & Fund Accounting Analyst
Type: Contract
Compensation: $75–$110/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 15 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Reconcile ledgers against custodian/bank statements. Isolate and explain residual differences. Produce signed-off reconciliation with adjusting entries.
• Attribute NAV movements. Flag components outside tolerance and write variance commentary.
• Investigate trade breaks between systems. Identify root cause, classify the break, propose fixes, and draft investigation narratives.
• Process corporate-action events. Compute entitlements per account. Handle payment/transfer exceptions and match merchant/vendor descriptors to a canonical registry.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3+ years in fund administration or investment operations.
• Experience with fund accounting, reconciliations, corporate actions, trade support, or payment operations.
• Strong Excel skills.

Preferred

• CPA or IOC certification.
• Experience with fund-accounting systems like SS&C, Geneva, Multifonds, or InvestOne.
• Familiarity with SWIFT/settlement systems.
