Garage Door Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site consultations and measurements for residential and commercial garage door projects.


• Prepare accurate, detailed estimates and confidently present product options, features, and benefits to customers.


• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and recommending customized garage door solutions.


• Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and community outreach.


• Stay current on industry trends, product innovations, pricing, and competitor offerings.


• Coordinate closely with operations and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale through project completion.


• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, sales activities, and follow-up communications.


• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service.

Role Requirements:

• Previous sales experience required; experience in the garage door, building materials, construction, or home improvement industry preferred.


• Strong understanding of garage door products, materials, and installation processes, or the ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.


• Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and customer accounts.


• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales-related software.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (or ability to operate a company-provided vehicle).
