PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Non -compliant, sick patient population
Patient Volume/Census: 12 -14 procedures per day

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Meditech
Support Staff Available: APP support provided

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: ~3 months

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Upper Endoscopies (EGD)
Colonoscopies
ERCP (mid -level / moderate complexity)
Esophageal, duodenal, or luminal stent placement
Argon plasma coagulation
Biopsies of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon
Colonoscopy with or without polypectomy
Diagnostic and therapeutic EGD
Enteral alimentation
Esophageal dilation (balloon, bougie, or Savary with guidewire)
Foreign body removal via EGD
Flexible sigmoidoscopy
GI motility studies and 24 -hour pH monitoring
Non -variceal hemostasis (upper and lower)
Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Other Qualifications: Providers with strong relationship building and communication skills highly preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Perform general GI procedures, including upper endoscopies and colonoscopies
Perform advanced procedures, including ERCP and esophageal stent placement
Participate in shared call rotation with offsite after -hours response
Engage with a non -compliant, sick patient population requiring strong communication and relationship -building skills
