Job Description - Gastroenterology Physician

Job Title: On-Site Gastroenterology Physician
Location: VA Central Iowa Health Care Systems, 3600 30th Street, Des Moines, IA 50310
Job type: Full-time position
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00
Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Gastroenterology at the physician level

Duties:

Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology services including consultations, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions.
Perform a full range of clinical gastroenterology procedures, including colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD).
Participated in peer reviews, patient satisfaction surveys, and ongoing provider practice evaluations
