Gateway Cath Lab Manager

Job Overview

The Gateway Cath Lab Manager is responsible for the administrative, fiscal, human resources, operational, and patient care functions of the Gateway Cath Lab. This position assumes 24-hour accountability as appropriate to the service line and provides leadership for the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of cardiovascular procedural services. The manager supports the hospital’s mission, vision, strategic goals, policies, procedures, and standards while promoting a culture focused on patient safety, quality, teamwork, physician partnership, employee engagement, and operational excellence. Overall, the Gateway Cath Lab Manager provides comprehensive leadership for the clinical, operational, financial, and workforce needs of the department. The position is responsible for maintaining safe patient care, effective staffing and call coverage, strong physician relationships, regulatory compliance, fiscal responsibility, employee development, quality improvement, and continued growth of cardiovascular services while ensuring the department remains aligned with the goals and mission of Deaconess. 

Experience Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' relevant experience in hospital clinical nursing. Preferred


• Minimum of one year relevant experience in nursing management. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state. Required


• Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider, within six months of hire. Required

OR

• Licensed by the Department of Health in applicable state as a Radiologic Technologist and certified by the ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist. Required or


• Licensed by the Department of Health if applicable state as a Sonographer and certified by the ARDMS. Required


• BLS CPR for healthcare providers. Required


• Maintain annual renewal/registration with the certifying organization. Required


• Revocation or inability to maintain licensure and/or registration may result in termination.
