GI Endoscopy Technician (GE Technician) supports diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures within a Level I trauma center by assisting physicians and nursing staff, preparing and maintaining specialized equipment, and ensuring procedural readiness. This role is responsible for the cleaning, disinfection, and functional integrity of endoscopic instruments, while monitoring patient condition and escalating clinical concerns as appropriate. The position operates in a high-acuity environment and adheres to all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
