Vulcan Fire accepts applications for our Golden, Colorado office.  Positions in our company work assigned hours, Monday through Friday.  Technical position have rotations in our on-call schedule.  

Position Summary:

Ideal candidates will have solid experience in one of our departments; installation, service, test & inspect, design, or administration.  Strong technical skills alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a desire to complete assignments, and a capacity for continual learning.  A full-time performance-based position requiring the ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals in a fast-paced low-voltage company.  

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Review and process all tasks as assigned.
  


• Takes ownership of issues and ensures problems are resolved promptly and professionally.


• Maintains a working knowledge of all company services pertaining to low voltage installation, maintenance, design processes, and procedures.


• Responds to inquiries from external and internal customers by phone and email.  


• Initiates apt verbal and written communication for ultimate service and installation.


• Updates and maintains an accurate account of all activity.
  


• Utilize various online systems for all facets of the position. 


• Collaborate with others in the office and the field to complete projects. 

Education & Required Skills:

• Accurate typing skills


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills


• Must have excellent attendance


• Must be computer savvy and have the ability to multi-task


• Demonstrates sound logic


• Works well under pressure


• Works in compliance with Federal and State codes


• NICET Certification


• Denver Journeyman and various other licenses a bonus


• Pass a 10-panel drug test


• Pass a criminal background check
