Summary/Objective:

Working in a position where you will be completing a multitude of different tasks depending on where you are needed.

Essential Functions:

Aiding in the building and repair of used insulated cooler/freezer doors which will include sheet metal bending and cutting wood.

Assist in pouring foam and setting new doors.

Assist in measuring, bending and cutting of metal trim for new and used cooler packages.

Participate in the general shop maintenance and cleanup.

Assist in cooler box set up and breakdown.

Assist in cleaning and repairing cooler boxes as needed.

Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing tasks.

Assist with the loading/unloading of truck shipments.

Working as needed with snow removal, lawn maintenance, scrapping and minor repairs to equipment/vehicles.

Have the ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.  

Must be available to travel out of state occasionally to assist with the removal of commercial coolers/freezers when needed. 

Ensure a positive communication dialogue and respect with all supervisors, peers and subordinates.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this position.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, crouching, pulling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Work will be performed Monday through Thursday, 6:30am to 4:30pm, 40 hours per week. Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED

Proficient with hand/power tools

Forklift experience

Basic carpentry/metal work experience
