General Maintenance

Perform assigned maintenance duties related to exterior and interior facilities; ensure high guest service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.


• Respond to guest maintenance requests.


• Complete work orders timely.


• Communicate regarding out-of-order rooms and projects.


• Maintain security of master keys.


• Work with outside contractors.


• Assist in training employees.


• Comply with safety laws and report issues.


• Monitor boiler/chiller readings.


• Responsible for pool maintenance.


• Report safety/security issues.


• Maintain clean work area.


• Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience.


• Effective communication.


• Technical skills: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.


• Weekend/holiday availability.


• Basic computer skills.


• Indoor/outdoor work.


• Adhere to environmental sustainability practices, including proper disposal of materials and energy-efficient maintenance procedures.

Job Environment

• Primarily indoors or within hotel facilities; some exposure to outside elements.


• Significant walking and standing for entire shift.


• Light to heavy lifting – 50+ lbs.


• Frequent reaching, climbing, bending, stretching, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climbing.
