General Manager - Brothers Pest Control

Brothers Pest Control, a Turf Masters Lawn Care company, is now hiring a General Manager in the Land O'Lakes/Tampa area. Description:  

Responsible for overseeing the overall operations, profitability, and strategic direction of the lawn care and chemical services branch >$7M.  

Education: 

·         Bachelor’s degree in business management, horticulture, or a related field or equivalent experience is required. 

·         Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., in business management or industry-related areas) is a plus. 

Experience:  

·         Minimum of 7 years of experience in the lawn care, landscaping, or chemical services industry, with at least 5 years in management. 

·         Proven experience in managing large teams, driving revenue growth, and overseeing complex operations. 

·         Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and strategic business planning. 

·         Obtaining and maintaining applicator license(s) by applicable state(s) is required.

·         Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  

·         Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitability. 

·         Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and ensuring cost control. 

·         Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. 

·         Excellent customer service and client relationship management abilities. 

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and business management software. 

·         Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities. 

·         Knowledge of operational best practices and continuous improvement strategies. 

General Responsibilities: 

·         Supervise the management of daily field operations, ensuring all services are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. 

·         Lead, manage, and motivate a team of supervisors and support staff to ensure they meet performance and quality goals.  

·         Oversee the management of scheduling, ensuring optimal route planning and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize operational costs. 

·         Responsible for management of branch inventory (chemicals, tools, and equipment).  

·         Monitor service delivery to ensure that customer expectations are met, resolve service issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.  

·         Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.  

·         Report performance results to senior management and implement corrective actions as necessary. 

·         Develop and manage the branch budget, focusing on cost control and maximizing profitability.  

·         Ensure that the company adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide use, chemical application, and worker safety. Manage audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
