Job Description - General Manager (Business Ops & Marketing)

Our client seeks a hands-on General Manager to lead overall business execution.

As the driving force behind the business execution, the General Manager will partner directly with the Board of Directors to shape strategic vision, set ambitious organizational goals, and hold full ownership of the operating P&L to turn high-level corporate plans into high-impact operational realities.

This is a dynamic, high-leverage opportunity where the leader will champion our client's customer acquisition engine by taking the reins of digital marketing strategies—bringing a hands-on approach to major ad platforms while meticulously optimizing acquisition costs, lead quality, and full-funnel performance.

Beyond marketing, this executive will architect our client's digital landscape and tech infrastructure, managing their web presence, steering crucial build-versus-buy technology decisions, and pioneering the deployment of cutting-edge AI tools to unlock next-level operational efficiency. They will also lead and inspire front-line operations, directly managing the intake and contact center teams to crush KPIs related to conversion, response times, and quality assurance.

Finally, this leader will bridge the gap between acquisition and service delivery by collaborating closely with our client's legal and advocacy leadership, ensuring a seamless, world-class onboarding journey for every consumer served.

Requirements

We are looking for a strategic business leader with a strong background in digital marketing and over 7 years of operating or management experience within a consumer-focused digital services environment (such as a C-level executive, COO, VP of Operations, or Senior Product Manager).

Bachelor's degree required.

Team management experience (10–50 employees) across marketing, intake, and technology functions.
