Generalist I - Human Resources

JOB SUMMARY

Working under the direction of HR Leadership, the HR Generalist will be a representative of the HR Department, facilitating HR Functions and Programs. 

*This role will work out of both our Corporate Office - 13535 Feather Sound Drive Clearwater FL 22762 and our Sales & Service Center - 5585 Rio Vista Dr, Clearwater, FL 33760*

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Administer employee policies and promote a positive employee relations experience

·       Successfully carries out work assigned by HR Leadership

·       Follows up on all tasks with HR Team members and/or clients; provides clear updates on status of tasks

·       Facilitate HR Processes for assigned business unit/employee base; manage and monitor performance-related issues and implement changes that could increase performance by partnering with business leadership.

·       Handle termination-related matters within assigned business unit/employee base

·       Answer associate requests and questions

·       Assist with the interview process during onsite bulk interview days

·       Participate in legal compliance as it relates to obtaining, sorting and managing information

·       Demonstrates knowledge of HR Management practices; demonstrates commitment to own development as HR Professional

·       Performs work for projects as determined by HR Leadership Team

·       May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements 

·       1-2 years’ experience in an HR Generalist

·       Associate Degree with course work in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field preferred

·       Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
