Through strong program leadership and cross\u2011functional coordination, you will help ensure compliance with global trade regulations while translating regulatory and leadership priorities into actionable plans that support business continuity and growth. By integrating efforts across trade compliance, enablement, digital transformation, and regional teams, you will improve visibility, reduce risk, and strengthen the effectiveness and scalability of Lam\u2019s global trade programs.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Lead and coordinate global trade programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable import, export, customs, and trade regulations while supporting Lam\u2019s business objectives\n * Manage complex, cross\u2011functional programs and workstreams across Global Trade, Legal, Logistics, Finance, Digital Transformation, and regional stakeholders, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and effective execution\n * Own and coordinate the Global Trade program portfolio, aligning priorities, sequencing initiatives, and managing interdependencies across compliance, enablement, automation, and regional activities\n * Establish and maintain a disciplined operating cadence for Global Trade programs, including regular status reviews, action tracking, dependency management, and risk and issue escalation\n * Serve as a strategic program partner to Global Trade leadership by providing Chief\u2011of\u2011Staff\u2011style program support, translating leadership priorities into structured plans, milestones, and sustained follow\u2011through\n * Prepare and maintain executive\u2011ready materials, including dashboards, briefings, decision summaries, and leadership read\u2011outs to support governance forums and senior stakeholder engagement\n * Act as a central integration point across Global Trade functions to ensure consistent communication, alignment, and execution of organizational priorities\n * Translate regulatory strategy, policy changes, and leadership direction into actionable program plans that drive coordinated execution across cross\u2011functional and regional teams\n * Support change management and adoption of new trade processes, systems, or policies by coordinating communications, sequencing rollouts, and tracking implementation progress\n * Identify program risks and gaps, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively surface issues requiring leadership attention\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Program \u0026 Portfolio Leadership: \n\n * Ability to plan, coordinate, and drive multiple concurrent programs and workstreams, managing dependencies, risks, and priorities across a global portfolio. \n * Strong discipline in establishing operating cadence, tracking commitments, and ensuring sustained follow\u2011through.\n\nRegulatory Translation \u0026 Risk Awareness: \n\n * Ability to understand global trade and regulatory requirements at a level sufficient to translate policy and regulatory intent into executable program plans. \n * Demonstrates sound judgment in identifying, escalating, and mitigating program and compliance risks.\n\nCross\u2011Functional Influence: \n\n * Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross\u2011functional environment, influencing outcomes without direct authority. \n * Builds strong working relationships across Global Trade, Legal, Supply Chain, Finance, Digital Transformation, and regional teams.\n\nLeadership Enablement \u0026 Executive Communication: \n\n * Skilled at supporting senior leaders through prioritization, synthesis, and structured execution support. \n * Ability to distill complex information into clear, executive\u2011ready communications, including dashboards, summaries, and decision materials.\n\nAnalytical Thinking \u0026 Problem Solving: \n\n * Strong analytical capability to assess complex issues, identify patterns, and develop practical, scalable solutions. \n * Uses data and structured thinking to inform decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations.\n\nChange Management \u0026 Execution Discipline: \n\n * Demonstrates the ability to support change adoption, coordinating communications, sequencing initiatives, and tracking implementation progress. \n * Maintains focus on execution quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.\n\nMinimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor\u2019s degree; or 8 years and a Master\u2019s degree.\n\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree a plus\n * Experience leading or coordinating global trade, compliance, or regulatory programs within a complex, multinational organization\n * Demonstrated strength in program or portfolio management, including managing multiple concurrent initiatives, dependencies, and cross\u2011functional stakeholders\n * Working knowledge of global trade regulations (e.g., import/export controls, customs, sanctions, export licensing) sufficient to translate regulatory requirements into executable program plans\n * Experience supporting senior leaders through operating cadence, prioritization, executive communications, or Chief\u2011of\u2011Staff\u2011type program responsibilities\n * Strong ability to synthesize complex information into clear, executive\u2011ready materials, including dashboards, briefings, and decision summaries\n * Proven ability to work effectively across functions such as Legal, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Digital Transformation, and regional teams\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed environment\n\n\n\n## Competencies\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n\nSalary\n\nCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $114,000.00 - $253,000.00.\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
