Golf Course Grounds Team Member

The Grounds Department is looking to fill Full time and Part Time seasonal positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Rate: $16-$20

Golf Course & Grounds Maintenance:

• Mow, trim, and edge fairways, greens, roughs, and tee areas.
• Rake bunkers and maintain sand traps.
• Assist in aerating, fertilizing, and seeding turf areas.

Equipment & Facility Upkeep:

• Operate and maintain grounds keeping tools and machinery, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles.
• Keep maintenance sheds, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized.

General Responsibilities:

• Assist with seasonal duties such as leaf removal, snow removal, and storm cleanup.
• Support special event setup and breakdown as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a high standard of course conditions.

Qualifications:

• Previous landscaping, golf course, or grounds maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of turf management, irrigation, and horticulture is a plus.
• Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment.

Work Schedule:

• Early morning shifts and weekends, and holidays may be required based on club needs.
• Seasonal variations in workload, especially during peak golf season and weather conditions.
