Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems across the golf course to ensure optimal water distribution

- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of irrigation equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly

- Adjust and calibrate irrigation controllers and valves to meet seasonal and environmental needs

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, replacing parts, and winterizing systems

- Monitor soil moisture levels and weather conditions to optimize watering schedules

- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance

- Collaborate with grounds keeping staff to coordinate irrigation schedules and ensure minimal disruption to course play

- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations related to water use and chemical handling

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair, preferably in a golf course or landscape setting

- Knowledge of irrigation controllers, valves, pumps, and related equipment

- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently

- Strong understanding of horticultural practices and water management principles

- Physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions

- Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate maintenance vehicles and equipment

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Relevant certifications such as EPA WaterSense, irrigation licensing, or related training are a plus
