Grab-and-Go/Prep Cook (PM) - Corporate Dining | Location: Camas, WA 98607
Compensation: $21-$24 per hour| Full-Time
Schedule: Friday-Monday, 4:30pm-1am
Job Summary
As a GrabâandâGo/Prep Cook in a corporate dining setting, you’ll prepare fresh, convenient food items that support staff and visitors throughout the day. You’ll play a key role in daily food service operations by producing highâquality grabâandâgo meals and completing essential prep work that keeps the kitchen running efficiently. Working in a fastâpaced, teamâoriented environment, you’ll follow recipes and strict food safety standards while contributing to a clean, organized, and dependable food service operation.
What You’ll Do
- Review daily menus and production plans, and gather ingredients needed for prep and grabâandâgo production.
- Prepare fresh grabâandâgo items such as salads, sandwiches, bowls, snacks, and packaged meals, ensuring consistency, quality, and freshness.
- Follow standardized recipes, portion guidelines, and production sheets to meet corporate kitchen standards.
- Complete daily prep and pull schedules to support cafeteria service, grabâandâgo programs, and special requests.
- Utilize proper food prep techniques to ensure quality, safety, and appealing presentation.
- Apply appropriate garnishing and packaging standards to ensure grabâandâgo items are attractive, clearly labeled, and ready for service.
- Restock grabâandâgo displays as needed to meet demand throughout the day.
- Maintain food safety standards at all times—keeping cold items properly chilled and following approved holding procedures.
- Weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients for upcoming production, using correct storage and thawing methods.
- Ensure all food is properly stored, labeled, dated, and rotated to maintain freshness and compliance with established regulations.
- Follow kitchen opening and closing procedures, including proper setup, breakdown, and cleaning.
- Clean and sanitize prep equipment, workstations, coolers, and storage areas according to health department guidelines.
- Assist with training new food service team members as needed.
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to the Supervisor.
- Support inventory organization and document product usage or removal from storage areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma/GED
Physical and Sensory Requirements
- This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks.
