Overview

Graham Packaging is holding a hiring event on Wednesday, July 8th from 9am-3pm in Mason, OH! We are interviewing for Machine Operator- Level I and Level II.(See posting on Site to review job description.)

Date: Wednesday July 8th Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm ESTEvent address: Hilton Garden Inn, 5200 Natorp Blvd, Mason, OH 45040

What to bring to this event: Your resume if you you have not already applied on the Graham Packaging Site and attached it. You will also need a cell phone or tablet to comeplete the application if you have not already done so prior to the event.

What to wear: Casual, Jeans or workpants are acceptable. Steel-toe boots are required to tour our facility (Should you get the oppotunity to advacne to the next round.)

Please note for planning purposes: Canidates who pass the first round interview process, will be given directions to the Mason Plant. A tour will then be given by one of our seasoned Supervisors.

Responsibilities

Current Job Opportunities:

Qualified candidates are required to have experience in machine operation. Please note, this is not a cleaning or janitorial position.

Machine Operator Level 1 (12 hr shifts, Day/Night hours 6:45 to 7:00 on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule-Starting at $20.60/hr plus $1.00 Night Shift Differential

Machine Operator Level II ( 12 hr shifts, Day/Night hours 6:45 to 7:00 on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule - Starting at $24.20/hr. plus $1.00 Night Shift diferential

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience a plus.

Required to interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements:

Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.
Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others.

Compensation Statement

The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
