Job Title: Grant Administrator
Hours: up to 40 hours per week; exempt
Wage: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Reports to: Finance Manager
Location: St. Lucie County

The primary functions of the Grant administrator are to oversee all the activities in the organization related to monitoring funding activities, resolving accounting issues, as well as providing support for the submission of grants and funding opportunities.
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Administration of grants, ensure the money is spent correctly
· Bills and submits paperwork for reimbursement promptly
· Ensure proper documentation is collected to demonstrate compliance with grantors
· The grant administrator is the contact for Ops, grant writer, and Finance
· Independently able to provide a variety of administrative guidance and grant-related support functions for the Program
· Involves developing of complex grant submissions, performs budget forecasting
· Perform grant closeout functions such as reconciliations and financial status reports
· Coordinate and prepares for audits
· Manage and supports the grant requirements and implementation for the organization
· Identify and develop strategies to optimize the grants administration process
· Receives, reviews, prepares, and/or submits a variety of documents such as requisitions, grant requests, reports, reimbursement requests, budget documents, professional journals, correspondence, etc.
· Manage the grant application process from start to finish
· Monitor grant-funded programs and provide regular reports to stakeholders
· Maintain accurate records of grant applications and awards
· Collaborate with program staff to develop grant proposals and budgets
· Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities
· Prepare and submit grant reports and other documentation as required
· Stay up-to-date on changes to grant regulations and requirements
· Find any potential inconsistencies and resolve them promptly
· Performs general ledger account analysis
· Must submit to and pass Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Children & Families.

· Associate Degree in Accounting/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
· Minimum of 2 years' experience in the field
· Grant experience in a non-profit
· Great written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with budget management
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
· Extremely organized and meticulous with details.
· Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize work and resources.
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data
· Ability to compile, organize, interpret, and communicate accounting data and results concisely
· Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal regulations, grants management
· Knowledge of accounting principles and techniques to include auditing and financial reporting
· Ability to analyze complex accounting processes and problems and make effective recommendations for their resolution
· Thorough knowledge of SAGE
· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures, principles, & GAAP
Some travel may be required for training and/or other business purposes
Our offices, neighborhood clubhouses, and school-based clubs are fast-paced work environments and are strategically located in areas of St. Lucie County where youth need us most. Based on the organization's needs, flexibility to work different schedules and work in different locations in St. Lucie County is required due to changing business demands. · The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, stooping/kneeling, reaching with hands and arms, and finger dexterity.
· This position requires extended talking, listening, sitting, walking, and standing; computer viewing, and keyboard entry. Regularly lifting up to 25 pounds.
· Daily operation of personal motor vehicles relevant to carrying out job duties is required for this position.
· Ability to think strategically and ability to sit for more than four hours per day.
