Graphic Designer, Home

Summary: IHL Group is looking for a highly creative, trend-driven Home Product Designer to join our Home division! This is an exciting opportunity to develop commercially successful soft and hard home collections while bringing fresh, trend-right ideas to market for major retailers.

Responsibilities:

• Design across multiple home categories, including soft and hard home, under multiple brands, licensed programs, and private label collections.


• Research and identify emerging trends in color, print, pattern, materials, and lifestyle aesthetics.


• Create and develop CADs, original prints, patterns, constructions, and embellishment concepts.


• Partner closely with Sales, Merchandising, Packaging, Sourcing, and Product Development teams to bring concepts to market.


• Drive innovation across product categories while maintaining strong brand identity and retailer alignment.


• Balance creativity with speed-to-market execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in home décor or textile design.


• Strong background designing categories such as bedding, pillows, throws, bath/shower, and kitchen textiles, with print and fabric knowledge.


• Deep understanding of retail trends and the off-price retail landscape.


• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.


• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.


• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Job Logistics

Location: New York, NY – Midtown West

Schedule: Full-time, on-site Monday–Friday

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000–$90,000.
