Greenskeeper

Rouge Park Golf Course is looking for greenskeepers for the golf season. The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.
 

Ideal candidates have a passion for landscaping and the game of golf. Beginner Greenskeepers are welcome – while knowledge of grounds maintenance is preferred, previous experience is not required for the position. Part-time and full-time seasonal positions will be available.
 

Responsibilities:
• Maintains clean work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Helps with the daily set-up of the golf course
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers
• Assists in turf maintenance practices such as aerifying, topdressing, and seeding
• Preforms general landscape maintenance using handheld tools
 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part as a team
• Commitment to safety procedures and environmental best practices.
