Greeter

Position Summary:

The Greeter is responsible for welcoming all patients, guests, vendors, staff and any other individual to our facility and directing them to the appropriate area of the building. The Greeter is both the first and the last visible point of contact Florida Orthopaedic Institute has with its patients requiring excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications:

Completion of a High School degree, experience in a medical office setting with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, organized and multi-tasked.

Key Responsibilities:

• To prepare and obtain reports and documents which are essential in performing the job function of the Greeter.


• Formally and professionally, welcome all patients, guests, vendors, staff and any other individuals to our facility.


• Ensure Vendors sign-in on the Vendor log sheet.


• Ensure any Vendor that needs a badge to access secure areas are permitted and logged into the Assigned badge logbook.


• Receive deliveries/ mail and route to recipients per policy.


• Assist patients in obtaining their requested medical records and/or films by directing them to complete the appropriate form or by directing them to the proper extension using the lobby phone.


• Assist patients with general questions and direct them to the appropriate Department or personnel to handle.


• Contact a Clinic Supervisor or Satellite Manager if a patient is complaining or upset.


• Maintain, organize and tidy the reception area.


• Assist other departments when needed with extra work.


• All other duties as assigned.
