Grinder Operator

Glen-Gery Corporation has excellent career opportunities at its Iberia, OH manufacturing facility for highly motivated Grinder Operators. Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience working as a Machine Operator in an industrial environment, with the ability to safely operate heavy equipment and maintain consistent production standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a front-end loader


• Perform daily operation of grinding equipment


• Meet daily production requirements


• Conduct inspections and routine maintenance of grinding equipment; assist with repairs as needed


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn automated systems and PC-based controls


• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


• Conscientious approach to quality and productivity


• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and team members


• Experience operating heavy equipment


• Mining experience or training is a plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills in reading, writing, and basic math


• Minimum of two (2) years of machine operation or related industrial experience
