Grounds Technician

GSF Properties Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated Grounds Technician to join our dynamic property management team in Fresno, CA!

In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall curb appeal of a large multi-family community in Fresno. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a welcoming, attractive, and well-maintained environment for residents and visitors. Responsibilities include cleaning trash enclosures and dumpster areas, power washing common spaces, removing debris and cobwebs, and ensuring the property consistently meets high standards of cleanliness and appearance.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and is committed to maintaining a clean and attractive community. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with on-site team members when needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional resident experience.

This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of grounds, common areas, and amenity spaces
• Clean dumpster enclosures and trash areas; ensure proper waste management
• Perform power washing, sweeping, debris removal, and cobweb removal
• Monitor and uphold curb appeal standards throughout the property
• Assist with light maintenance tasks and support unit turns as needed
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
• Collaborate with Community Manager and Portfolio Manager to ensure overall property upkeep and directly report to them

Requirements for Grounds Technician:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and dependable
• Detail-oriented with pride in maintaining property appearance, cleanliness, and curb appeal
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable transportation required
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Available to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)
