Grove Hotel - Bartender

As a Bartender at the Grove Hotel, you will craft memorable drink experiences while delivering friendly, attentive service to guests in both the restaurant and lounge areas.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and specialty cocktails, according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to guests at the bar and in the lounge area, offering recommendations and taking orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service at all times.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, issuing receipts and balancing drawers at end of shift.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to fulfill food and beverage orders efficiently.
• Restock bar inventory, monitor supply levels, and assist with regular inventory counts.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests, responding to requests and concerns promptly.
• Adhere to hotel policies and uphold the brand’s commitment to exceptional service.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Previous experience as a bartender in a lounge, bar, or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of drink preparation techniques and beverage presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service required or be willing to obtain. 
• Passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business needs. 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
