GSOC Communications Systems Operator (CSO) Liaison

EVS is seeking a Government Security Operations Center (GSOC) Communications Systems Operator (CSO) Liaison for an upcoming proposal effort.

The Government Security Operations Center (GSOC) Communications Systems Operator (CSO) Liaison provides mission-essential operational support and subject matter expertise for Mission Communications Systems aboard C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft. The position supports the GSOC at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, where the PWS requires GSOC Operations Support to be staffed continuously, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

*This position is contingent upon the award of the contract. The anticipated start date and scope of work will be determined based on the outcome of the interview process and the details of the awarded contract.

• Serve as the Government Security Operations Center Communications Systems Operator liaison.
• Track and assist Executive Aircraft in flight with communications issues, respond to incident calls, and support trend-analysis efforts.
• Use Command and Control tools and chat software, such as Mattermost, to support Executive Aircraft while in flight.
• Provide GSOC leadership with expert guidance regarding operation of the Mission Communications System aboard C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft.
• Provide expert troubleshooting guidance to Communications Systems Operators aboard C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft during Mission Communications System anomalies or outages.
• Review GSOC flight-monitoring solutions that use web-based tools developed by commercial satellite communications providers and provide recommendations regarding their effectiveness.
• Perform work on-site at Joint Base Andrews in support of GSOC operations.

• Expertise with the Mission Communications Systems of the C-32A, C-40B/C, and/or C-37A/B aircraft.
• TOP SECRET security clearance at the time of contract award.
• GSOC Operations Support is located at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, and technician work at JBA is performed on-site.
