Job Description - Guest Care Advisor

J.Con Salon & Spa is currently seeking a Guest Care Advisor who is passionate about providing world-class service. The Guest Care Advisor is a champion of J.Con’s mission, vision, and values, and should demonstrate them skillfully and consistently through the following (as well as all other projects/duties as assigned):

 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate to guests in an attentive, friendly, and courteous manner while providing “world-class” service.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date point-of-sale (“POS”) program at all times. This includes all facets of the appointment book and the register.
  • Handles cash and credit card  transactions
  • Meet Retail Weekly/Monthly Sales Goals
  • Responsible for accurate check in/check out salon guests.
  • Utilize proper phone etiquette when answering phones.
  • Provide excellent customer service by educating guests on products while ensuring an excellent experience from beginning to end.
  • Promote and represent J.Con in a professional and enthusiastic manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

 
 

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Saturday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

  • Retail Bonus pay

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of fast-paced,  hospitality or retail/salon experience
  • Proficient with technology is a  must (e.g., POS system and Apple devices)
  • Experience on salon booking  software preferred
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Ability to maintain excellent telephone and professional customer service skills
  • Sales required
  • Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
