Gymnastics Party Team Member

JOB TITLE: Gymnastics Party Aide – Part-Time

Reports To: Gymnastics Coordinator

SUMMARY

Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks & Recreation is seeking an aide to assist with birthday parties 
and take on all duties associated with that role. This shifts for this position are on Saturdays and Sundays.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

No Experience is required, but having general gymnastics knowledge is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 16yrs or older


• Must have reliable transportation


• Must be available weekends


• Can successfully complete a background check

ESSENTIAL DUITES AND REPONSIBILITES include the following:

• Collaboration and Compliance
  
  
  
  • Work closely with party hosts to ensure their party needs and expectations are met
  
  
  • Work closely with other staff members to oversee safety and run operations smoothly
  
  
  
  


• Equipment Set up and Monitoring
  
  
  
  • Use a tablet/laptop to check waivers or assist guests with filling out waivers
  
  
  • Operate black light and sound system
  
  
  
  


• Skill Development and Communication
  
  
  
  • Use effective oral communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  
  
  • Clearly communicate with every guest to review rules and expectations of our facility
  
  
  • Use clear communication to enforce the rules of our facility
  
  
  
  


• Assisting with Parks and Recreation Events
  
  
  
  • Community events: working with other coordinators during community events such as June Jubilee, Movie Nights, and other special events.

  • Must be able to be on your feet for 7 to 9 hours
  
  
  • Move mats and/or equipment weighing up to 50lbs
