Head Chef / General Manager

$65,000–$70,000 per year | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Picasso Restaurant Group is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Head Chef / General Manager to lead our Troy location!

This is a great opportunity for a culinary professional who wants a leadership role with a consistent daytime schedule — no nights and no regular weekends.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all daily kitchen and café operations


• Lead, train, schedule, and develop kitchen and front-of-house team members


• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and excellent customer service


• Manage food ordering, inventory, and food costs


• Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards


• Assist with menu planning and daily food production


• Monitor labor and operating costs


• Create a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment


• Work closely with Picasso Restaurant Group leadership to ensure the location operates efficiently and successfully


• Participate in catering and special events as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, General Manager, or similar leadership role
  


• Strong culinary and kitchen management experience


• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team


• Knowledge of food costs, ordering, inventory, and labor management


• Strong organizational and communication skills


• Commitment to quality, cleanliness, and customer service


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced food service environment


• Catering or high-volume food service experience is a plus

Schedule & Compensation

Monday–Friday
7:00 AM–3:00 PM
No regular nights or weekends
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year

Eligible for health benefits after 90 days

Paid Vacation Time, all major holidays off
