Sandhill Cove is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Health Center Activity Assistant (PT/16/wk) to join our team at Water's Edge.  

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:

• Invites and assists residents to and from activity areas for participation.


• Leads or assists with planned activities following specific instructions as to goal procedures and outcome.


• Sets up and dismantles activity areas before and after programs.


• Assists with record keeping documentation and filing.

Physical demands and work environment:

• Frequently moderate bending and stooping, standing 50%, ability to push residents in wheelchair.


• Push, pull or lift to 30 pounds on occasion


• Works in retirement facility environment with regular exposure to chronically ill and frail elderly.

Starting hourly rate:  $15

Shift:  Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm
